The 2020 northern light Summit will be held in Helsinki

June 25-27, 2020

The secretariat will send the formal invitations in OCtober 2019.

We are living in an era of unprecedented risks. However, businesses must continue to find ways to thrive and create value despite these conditions. At the Summit, we will look at two things; how to prepare for the risks ahead and how businesses must redefine their roles to strive in these difficult conditions. We will also discuss the relationship between China, US and Europe.

All conversations will be off the record.

130 CEOs, Chairmen and thought leaders attend the summit each year. Previous attendants include:

Paul Polman (Unilever), Joe Kaeser (Siemens), Henrik Ehrnrooth (KONE), President Kersti Kaljulaid (Estonia), Eric Schmidt (Google), François Heisbourg (IISS), Anne-Marie Slaughter (New America), Carl Bildt (European Council for Foreign Relations), Trina Gordon (Boyden), Bengt Holmström (MIT), Martin Lundstedt (Volvo Group), Alexey Mordashov (Severstal), Martin Wolf, Edward Luce & Jamil Anderlini (Financial Times), Sir Nicholas Clegg (Facebook), David Wallerstein (Tencent) and Johannes Teyssen (E.ON)

“I am not much given to superlatives, but I know I was not the only one to return home excited and stimulated by the content, and equally impressed by the style and the brilliant organisation. My first exposure to Northern Light two years ago made me eager to return and this year’s conference surpassed my expectations. Both the newcomers and the old hands I spoke to all agreed.”
